This slide is an example of the hemorrhage caused by these incomplete blood vessels. Sometimes this hemorrhage may be referred to as a flame hemorrhage. Most common signs of diabetic retinopathy are: changes in fluctuations in vision and focus, overall blurred or hazy vision, increased sensitivity to light, faulty color vision, and clouding of the vitreous through which light normally passes through to the retina.
